The 14th French Alumni French language Awards 2005 will be held during the Francophonie Festival 2005 celebrations at the Alliance Française de Singapour on Saturday 2 April 2005. This important event will be graced by Ambassadors from French-speaking countries.



These awards are given annually to students who excel in the French language in Singapore. The objective is to motivate and encourage students in their language acquisition.



The award recipients will receive a certificate signed by the French Ambassador and the President of the French Alumni. They will also receive a book voucher, French CDs/VCDs and a Francophonie Festival T-shirt. After the prize presentation, they will be invited to attend a buffet dinner. In addition, the laureates will also receive 2 tickets to attend a concert by world singer and musician Youssou D'Nour at the Esplanade on 18 March 05 sponsored by the French Embassy. These tickets will be sent to them before the awards ceremony.







TP has been invited to select an outstanding student in French to receive this award.



We, the French lecturers, have short-listed the 11 of you. We would like to invite you for an interview to select the most suitable candidate for this year’s award. You will have to introduce yourself in French. It will be followed by an interview in English about your motivation and experience in your French language acquisition.



The interviews will be conducted on Tuesday 15 February from 18.00 to 20.00 at IGS, IT school, block 8, level 6.
